The History of No Mark-up Days
To celebrate our tenth anniversary we published a cookbook containing the recipes gleaned from our newsletters. We printed 200 copies and had a complete sellout.
Another cookbook to mark our twentieth anniversary also sold out.
To celebrate our subsequent anniversaries we have had a no mark-up day in the fall. We also introduced a no mark-up day in the winter to help with our year-end inventory which takes place on January 31st, by leaving fewer items to count. Members and non-members started asking when our next no mark-up day was going to be, so to accommodate the great response of our membership we decided to sporadically place a few more sale days thoughout the year.
